The overall price is kind of high for the amount of space/rooms in each apartment. But overall the whole South End area is slightly overpriced so I guess the Silos' prices fall in line with the competition.

Based on the rental rates, square feet and amenities compared to other apartments in this area I do not feel my family or friends would get the best value for their money.

I will address the items that you mentioned and see if I can make any improvement. I will personally speak with the tow service ensuring they are able to get all cars without permits. Please let me know if I can help in any other way.

The rent price that is being asked for with all of the other apartments coming up in the neighborhood is a bit shocking.

For an apartment in the South End area I would recommend the Silos, but if you didn't have the desire to solely be in South End I would say it is overpriced for what you really get out of it (Same is the case for every other apartment in South End, so this is not singling out the Silos).

I think the value is why I would recommend Silos. The array of amenities is a huge bonus, the location is great - we're not too close to the most crowded portion of SouthEnd (closer to Uptown), but still close enough to enjoy the best parts of the neighborhood. The open lot parking is also a bonus over all the complexes with parking garages. The pool is much better than some other complexes as well, and the terraces provide great alternate outdoor spaces.

But I will definitely warn them that the building's have basic functions that don't always work.

I already have recommended the property to some co-workers looking to relocate from their current apartment complexes.

Not worth the rent cost

I just moved out after 15m at Silos. While I enjoyed many features of my apartment, some aspects of the apartment are not worth it.

1. The shades do not block light. Especially if you face the lightrail or parking lots.
2. There are heating/cooling issues in the apartment.
3. Valet trash is overpriced and doesn't come on the weekends.
4. Management frequently changes rules or does not provide timely updates on new policies.
5. Community is not overly friendly.

Agree with the Horrible Design!!

We also rented a townhome at this location for 11 months and agree with the person above that there were constant heating and cooling issues. Also, I agree with the above about the electric bills. By far the most I have ever spent for this size of rental unit. In the winter you could just stand near the sliding doors and feel the cold air coming in. On top of this you pay a ton of money in AUM fees. Including $50/month for trash!!! Yes, that's right for trash!! You can also expect a water/sewer charges on the AUM to be between $30-$40 bucks. When I owned my home, I paid this amount for 3 months!!! Then there is the $3 AUM Admin charge. Why would we pay these people and Admin charge?? Also, did I mention that you can hear everything your neighbor does?? Alarm clock, dogs, closing doors, snoring, TV, and you can guess the rest! Too much money for what you get for this money or a little bit more you can be in a steel and concrete structure and your experience with be much better. I will never rent here again!!
