The community has changed over the last six month. I am sure alot of it has to do with Covid, but the property is not as clean, and the quiet peaceful community is gone. I have only been back 3 times since May, and each time there has been some sort of yelling.

It seems like the rent keeps going up but the amenities are not the same. The hot tub was taken out, the parking is a struggle, reserved parking is being taken away and no updates have been made to our apartment. And the word is that if we do have any updates done the rent will go up. I am glad they put the speed bumps back in because people speed so bad in the parking lot all the time and are not kept accountable. The pool hours have been drastically cut back because of things like the staff doesn’t want work/monitor it after five or on Sundays. So those of us who work 9 to 5 To pay the rent can only use the pool on Saturday. The delivery of packages also seems to be very unorganized. sometimes they’re in the closet sometimes they’re in the lockers and sometimes they’re in the front hallway by building number.

Amenities are not great. Missing important things like indoor kids recreational place, the outdoor playground is not great. Also, the community has space to build a basketball court, tennis court, etc.

Noise from highway. The hallways are Very dated. People do NOT pick up after their dogs.

the apartments are nice however they need updates in all areas. appliances need to be updated, the rugs should be removed and replaced with laminant floooring canbinets should match

Being an 15 year old community we felt updates were needed as well, so Highlands is doing just that.
