High cost of living; esthetically pleasing but cheaply made. Unhelpful staff-- repairs never get done in a timely manner, calls to the office are not returned and even if you talk to someone they still never followup or get repairs passed on to maintenance. Dog owners are not monitored to make sure that they follow the rules for cleaning up after their animals so the grounds look worse all the time. Parking is better than when we moved in which I think is because there are more empty apartments around us.

It's just OK. Do not expect much.
If there's a wheelchair bound person in your family, expect to struggle sometimes with parking or when it snows, accessibility to the car is an issue.
Maintenance is very responsive when issues are reported online.
Rent: If you forget to pay your rent after the 3rd day, expect to receive not a reminder, but a penalty.

I'd advise them to look at the competitor's apt's behind the mall as they are very similar but several hundred dollars less per month. I'm at the preserve due to the fact that it was the only thing available at the time. Several units have opened up since yet my rent continues to increase.
