2 years and still loving it

I have lived at this complex for 2 years now and I still enjoy it very much. It is quiet, the neighbors I have met are nice and the management has been helpful. Parking can be tight but I added a carport on and they actually enforced the paid parking rules. Someone pared in my place one time and they had the car moved quickly and told me if it ever happened again to call and they would take care of it. The gym is large and it is kept clean, the cleaning person was even in there one morning before the office opened. I will admit the prices have gone up since I have lived here but only about $40, but I have friends that live elsewhere in town and their prices have gone up $100+ they say due to the increase in demand because of the new businesses in town.

Wonderful!

I stopped by The Lofts just to see for myself. The staff was wonderful. The ladies were able to answer my questions. The model was beautiful. The property was very clean. I did not see any of the issues that were presented on here. Hopefully they will have an apartment for me soon. I was very impressed with their amenities too.

Beware!!

Avoid The Lofts if you can!! Management is horrible! The apartment manager Amanda lies about everything she does and is extremely rude. I moved into the lofts in Dec 2012 and had issues with her the first day, I reluctantly resigned a year later because I couldn't find another place in town that had an opening. After this my water bill has tripled in price and she has no answer for this and nor does the water billing company. DO NOT RENT HERE! Way over priced for what you get! Not only that but they just raise rent with no warning!! Stay clear of this place!!!

Awful management, lots of issues.

Plumbing issues, shotty worksmanship, TERRIBLE management.

Beware of your water bill, I'm almost positive they make stuff up. Mine varies from 15 to 60 a month. It makes absolutely no sense and they won't fix anything about it.

My bathroom door has never had a handle on it. I literally have NO HANDLE. Have complained 6-7 times and they said "THERE ISN'T ANYTHING WE CAN DO." That's the builders fix. Actually, there's a home depot down the road. But I guess I'm wrong in that.

Also beware of pricing in general. They'll just tell you whatever number they can get away with and then work from there. It's just ridiculous.

PRO: I don't have loud or rude neighbors. But that's just luck.

Just don't. Go to Hunter's Cove. It's about 5 years older but they actually have their act together.

The apartment is nice but the management is poor.

I moved into this apartment in June 2013 and it was evident from the time that I met to sign my lease that the management company didn't care about me beyond the rent check that I supply each month. I was rushed through my lease signing (wish I had known then!) and hardly told about any of the features. In fact, I had to email back several times just to find out about how to unlock the gates or let visitors in. The management staff is unprofessional in their appearance and communication, both verbally and written. I have never felt so disregarded as a tenant as I do here and cannot wait until my lease is up.

Poor Management

We have lived in a few apartment communities. Some are good, some are bad, and some just have poor, unreliable managers. The Lofts has a problem with management. We have seen at least 3 leasing employees come and go since we have been here. We moved in this complex in November of 2012, and the builder forgot to put a mailbox in the postal station for our apartment number. Management at the time apologized and said they would fix the problem. Weeks went by and our mail had a 50% chance of being delivered to the leasing office or returned to sender. After a month or so, someone from the Lofts management took a piece of paper and wrote our apartment number on it and taped it to the door of our mailbox location, and at this present time, 4:51pm on May 29th, 2013 we still do not have a standard mailbox. The taped paper is still in place in this upscale apartment community. On top of this issue that management can't seem to solve, we recently received a water/sewer bill that nearly tripled. We called the leasing office and talked to management, management advised us that many tenants were calling the office complaining about their bills nearly tripling. Management advised us not to pay the bill and wait for a corrected bill or a phone call. We waited and nothing happened. We called again and were told to contact the billing department. The billing department told us to call the utility provider. We called the Lofts Management back and the manager speaking didn’t t have any interest in resolving the issue for us or any other tenants. She was done with the matter leaving her tenants to fight the issue themselves. We presently pay more for water that we do power. It makes no sense and management couldn’t care less. Evidently they have better things to do than look out for their tenants. Oh yeah, if you move here be ready to deal with pet feces all over the lawns, barking dogs, speeding vehicles, and dead field rats lying next to sidewalks for months after being reported to leasing agents. Bottom line is management could be more attentive and proactive to their tenants needs.
Thank you soooo much for letting me know about this. I was just about to sign a lease there tomorrow.  I did see the dead rats when we were there. They said they had never seen that before and they would be cleaned up right away.  Also, the one apt they showed up smelled reallly bad, and the apartment manager am some excuse about the plumbing and it would be fixed right away. I also felt rushed into signing.  Thank God we decided to sleep on it,.  I'm am disgusted with this. Someone should report them to the news.  It's unsafe.
