The complex unfortunately just switched managements within the past month and is no longer affiliated with CWS Properties and is now with Alliance. Since the transition, we have been without any introduction to the new company and have had no direction in where rent is to be paid as the online program that was used through CWS was removed. The entrance and exit gates have been out of service for over two weeks and it doesn't appear any progression is being made to fix them. Not impressed at all with the transition and this particular complex over the past several months. The maintenance team, however, is wonderful, quick and friendly.

It's lacking in several areas, and residents are simply not valued like they should be. Why put up with that when there's so many options in this city?

I still believe this is the best location for an apt. in this area of town. I do think it is going downhill at the moment. I hope it will get better.

It was a beautiful property with what seemed to be a top notch staff. It was conveniently located to great shopping and major interstates.

For the price of the rent that is paid, there should be an occassional community activity. Up until the last year or two, there were activities, such as the casino night in the fall, occassional Saturday breakfasts, and some summer activities. Now it appears that this is just a business enterprise, more than a home community

Would recommend because of friendly personnel and prompt service. Would not recommend due to lack of upgrades and monthly rent is as high as in new apartments with new carpet, granite and remodeled kitchens.

Price is higher outside 1604 but reasonable so far & convenient to my family

Good location, quite but older and not many amenities.

Would: nice, established community and a great location which is close to things. Apartments are being upgraded as vacated, which is a real plus.
Would Not: Rules are not enforced for everyone. We are not supposed to have grills on our patios, but I see at least 5 on the short walk I take with my dog every day. A neighbor hangs his clothes on his patio railing to dry ... and this past weekend he even put a pair of pants on the front of his car to dry. Another resident puts something like shrimp on the top of their car for the sunlight (??). Dog waste is not cleaned up by everyone (appears mostly to be the small dog owners). The breezeways on the 2nd and 3rd floors are dirty and need power washing (it appears that the 1st floor breezeways - the ones visitors see - are cleaned much more than the others).

Same as mentioned above. The neighbors are disrepectful when it comes to noise. Mostly during hours when you are trying to sleep. There are no incentives to stay anymore. When I first moved in, we use to get renewal bonuses or treats, now rent just increases. Apartments down the street offer move in specials, so there really is no incentive to stay.

It depends on whether or not they have school aged kids. I'd say if they did, there are other complexes that might serve them better. Plus, the pricing for the three bedroom units is quite expensive, for what you get in the environment you get it.

Replacing old appliances has been denied the last few years. Maintenance requests for fixing exterior or door issues have been denied. Stairwells are not kept clean. Power wash request has been denied in the past.

I would recommend this community because it is quiet, peaceful and feel pretty safe.

a lot depends on whether there is ongoing break ins. There were a lot of break ins last fall but I don't see the police roaming through like before so maybe its not so bad
