I been here for almost an year and haven't had any issues at all, my apartment is absolutely fabulous and updated. Now what I can say is meintenance is very slowful, their walkways after it rains some of them or horrible to walk to your vehicle or outside exc. That need to be fixed like yesterday. They also have some tenants with dogs which their too lazy to clean their dogs feces up. Also to me it seem as though Olgar does the best she can by answering questions and concerns! She's not perfect but she certainly been there for me since I moved in The View of Lake Highland Apartment. The neighborhood has been fine, I haven't had any issues, the freeways/highways, Bus is very convenient. Also stores, hospitals or whatever the case may be that you need to get to in a timely matter is very awesome! Ohhhhhhhhhh cleaning the pool need to really take place asap because it's very hot and our children look forward to spending Summers at the pool. Please be aware that after it rains the puddles that are around your front door or steps draw mosquitos, wasps and other flying insects straight into your home that leave you and your family extremely uncomfortable which seem to be very irritating. The ants or very badly as well. Please let the tenants know there is absolutely NO SMOKING INSIDE THEIR APARTMENT. Not everyone smokes and want to inhale smoke inside their apartment with their families, that has became very irritating as wellllllllllll. But besides those things I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!!!!!

These apartments are horrible. I would strongly recommend running the other way. I have only been here a short while and cannot wait for my lease to be up. The staff is very disorganized they try to act like they know what it is to be professional however in the end you see that it was all a facade. The apartments are nasty on the inside rust around appliances, walls damaged, wasp nests on patios, cabinets are old and cheap looking then they put nice brand new knobs on them, the fireplace looks cheap, and I don’t dare walk on the carpet bare footed. Maintenance is nice and is in charge of upkeep however this boils down to administration. They do not know how to inform renters in a timely manner or address situations correctly. In return they do not get the messages to maintenance in a timely manner that way they can get it fixed. Do not settle for this place. I should have seen a red flag myself when they said no income check. Also the grounds are decent however once the tenants come out you see exactly what this complex is about. Hopefully this review helps and shows that the view at lake highlands is not the place to be. I wish I would have continued looking.
