Poor organization!

I completed the application process at the end of May and was scheduled to move in July. I saw the beautiful two bedroom model and everything seemed fine. Five days before I was scheduled to move, I received a phone call from one of the office employees letting me know "some bad news". Supposedly one of the temp workers had let the people living in the unit that I had signed for and was scheduled to move into resign their lease. I was furious because I got this information five days before I was scheduled to move. I also saw another unit before the tenants moved in that day and it was absolutely disgusting! This property lacks organizational skills that are required to manage a property properly. Needless to say, I did not move in! I would not recommend living here!!

Not a good place to rent

Management may be different at this apartment complex but the level of service is just as terrible as ever. The new "renovation" of the apartments required a construction team to install vinyl flooring over exposed hardwood floors. When they moved my washer/dryer out of the utility closet they failed to reconnect the dryer to the outside vent. I called every day this week begging someone to come by and connect it so I can do a load of clothes. Management of the complex refused to send their own maintenance personnel because they didn't cause the problem, instead contacting the construction crew. Finally today (Thursday) two men come by, look it over, and tell me I need a new part to connect it since the old one was torn when they moved the dryer. It's now evening and still no help. Three days of wearing the same dirty cloths to work because I cannot use my own appliances to wash a load of clothes. If you decide to rent here expect the same level of service. The apartments are old, and if you have a maintenance issue expect to wait weeks for it to be resolved. There are several better choices of places to rent in this area. Ask yourself: WHY WOULD I WANT TO LIVE HERE?

Don't move here! You will regret it!

They are doing a "multi million dollar" renovation, but ARE NOT FIXING OLD PROBLEMS. Such as, horrible plumbing,(huge water leaks in downstairs apartments multiple times) front door that are literally duct taped to be held together (have been contacting maintenance about this problem since BEFORE THANKSGIVING and still waiting on a "custom door") You pay $25 for trash service that does not get done consistently. They say it's due to the compacter not working. Then the trash is piled up next to the dumpster. 'The "gated community" is a big joke. The entrance gate has been broken for MONTHS! During this year alone, it's worked for maybe 4 weeks TOTAL. The exit gate has been broken for a while too. While some of the office staff do care about your problems, the management company seems to care more about their bottom line ($$$) than the residents who live here. Oh, did I mention the window above our nice desk nook that every time it rains it POURS ON MY DESK? Completely unusable for anything that can't get wet... Like a computer. Parking is slim chance to none after certain hours at certain buildings. They have allowed some company from Georgia to do the "renovations" here. These sub-contractors have quite a reputation here for stealing things from residents homes, throwing trash on the ground, walking in on residents apartments without knocking. Why do they even have keys to our apartments in the first place? The maintenance team employed by the apartments are nice and do fix things when they get to your apartment, but I say hire more maintenance men to take care of the problems that actually exist, instead of painting the counters and changing out light fixtures. FIX WHAT IS ACTUALLY BROKEN! But hey, they are renovating and putting lipstick on a pig of a property that needs to be fixed from the inside out.
In closing, please don't move here. Save yourself the headache...
