Overpriced

I left there after only a year due to rising rents, which I was told they do a lot, over run with noisy dogs, (I'm a dog lover but it was bad) the foyer of the building smelled bad. They don't include water/sewer like most others. Cheap countertops for a supposed luxury apartment. Overpriced!!!

This place is like the hotel California...

You may check in but you may never leave! The whole experience of moving in was wonderful, the grounds are well taken care of and maintenance is responsive. The place is quiet, neighbors are great. But... the rent is expensive and be prepared for it to go up every year! Good luck getting your full deposit back, if your apartment is not spotless, they will charged for any "scrubbing" that needs to be done. The fee for the use of the Community room and gym that was so graciously waived when we moved in was charged to us when we left. Overall it met our needs at first but make sure you are able to afford it before you decide to move in. This place has a very high turn around of tenants. In the year we were there our whole building with the exception of one tenant moved out.

Great Place to live! Just lots of dogs!

Great place to live. Nice clubhouse and pool. The grounds are immaculate and well landscaped. My one complaint is the DOGS. I feel that ever person in the complex owns a darn dog! The place is very pet friendly and even has pet stations for pet waste. Great, but I dont own a dog! I love how they sign for your packages for you. That's such a great feature, the valet garbage is nice as well. As for the staff, John Santavicca is a great guy. He is the manager of the complex and extremely accomodating and fair. The other workers in the office are friendly, just not as easy to work with than John was. I took off one star from the rating for the kitchen. I feel for the price, thier should be higher quality cabinets and GRANITE. There is not. Also, there are so many vents, and fire alarms and sprinklers, and fuse boxes all over the apartment. Its rather annoying when trying to decorate. But Im sure those are all required for state and federal regulations. Check this place out, you will be pleased!

my favorite

I lived here from 2010-2012 and wish I could still live there, but I had to move elsewhere. My current apartment management is atrocious compared to Woodmont. The grounds were nicely kept, the management/maintenance team were friendly and helpful, and I honestly can't think of one complaint besides maybe that it was hard to get a spot right in front of my place if I came back late. Yeah, you're paying a lot given the area, but it's well worth it, in my opinion.

Beautiful place to live, overpriced

It's beautiful here, everyone is pleasant, and the facilities are well kept. However, I am not happy with rising costs and additional fees. For example, water and sewer charges are not included. In addition the standard rate for garages is significantly higher than the promotional rate. I find it disturbing that if I move garages during the promotional period Woodmont would lower my rate, but would not do the same for being a loyal customer of nearly 3 years. Monthly rent has also been rising annually.

I know several people who once lived here and in many cases their new residence is comparable, however their rent is less and they do not have the additional costs I mentioned. I think Woodmont should seriously consider this if they hope to retain tenants. Most likely I will not be renewing my lease. This is unfortunate for Woodmont since I could be a long-term tenant.

Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

The leasing agent was very positive and she was very professional. She really talked up the community in a positive light.

The leasing professional seemed focused on the sale. The community seemed nice.

Feedback from an independent evaluator

The location was convenient to almost everything and the landscaping and patios/balconies were well maintained. The community takes pride in its presentation in both public and private areas.

While the Leasing Professional did not try to close me at any point, she did provide a lot of information regaring the community, the units as well as the surrounding areas of the community. She spoke in a positive manner regarding what the community offered as well as pointed out the longevity of the residents there. She stated that many of the residents had been with Woodmont Mews since they opened; which wa a testament to the community. Again, she was pleasant, professional and very cordial throughout our interaction; however at no point did she try to close me. Based on the community itself and what I saw, I would certainly consider living there as well as refer others there. I would offer a suggestion of having her ask more open ended questions to obtain more information in an effort to uncover the customer's needs and to ultimately close more sales.

Just based on curb appeal and the looks of the community, I would feel comfortable wanting to live there. In my dealings with the agent, I would not want to live there because I felt I was not given the attention I deserved, nor did she offer to assist me even while she was waiting for a client to come in. I felt she would have lost a prospective customer. She could have been more open to letting me walk out of the office with more than just a website name.
