Worst management / punished for complaint

Signed lease in June of 2013, only one other tenant in building I am in. They were on 3rd floor and myself first. There are groups of 12 appts per stairwell. Yes, to be expected, and tolerated, as it fills ,there will be more noise. Some people are not going to respect neighbors, rules, or anything and that is something you can't blame the complex for. When you make valid complaints about noise from animals, a child jumping, slamming patio door, and stomping on repeated occasions to manager and asst manager and it continues, and you get the same generic answer that "we sent a letter", but yet no change except that now it is worse, and you make more complaints and the pensive look on the managers face tells you that it appears as if I'm a "problem". Lot's of details I won't put you through, but after multiple complaints NO RESOLUTION, so I was forced to video and audio record problems! So armed with multiple recordings, took them AGAIN to management , at which point I was assured it would be delt with. Also, in the same breath the manager told me that if she didn't know about the problems, she couldn't address them. The next day the problem continued it was across the appt, and also above. I gave them 48 hrs to "address" the situations as I was told for the what felt like the hundreth time. Two days later both dogs and the child were still "wide open" I called animal control myself, due to no response from management that rectified the noise. Officer dispatched, sat in parking lot for 30 min and knocked an my door after knocking on downstairs resident with howling dog, ask me when they would be in and let me know that in day time they verified my complaint and would come back to deal with residents about the disturbance they witnessed. They did come back and deal with situation, and told residents if they did not fix the noise they would be fined. Problem was resolved with that problem, but when I went to management AGAIN, due to upstairs tenants and took video proof once again, and also said I would contact police once again if she would not fix this situation. Wow, did I make a mistake, we have been targeted, harassed, threatened, and lied on! We were issued a letter of demand for keys to apartment!!! If you complain and and ask for an explanation of the logic that the management uses here, they retaliate with a demand for keys, instead of solving the issue. If you are thinking about becoming a tenant, or are a tenant hope that you don't have a complaint that will upset the management at this location! The lowest is one star, the place is ok, but the management ruins it!!! Maintenance and other staff all good but as of sept of 2014 manager and asst mgr AWEFUL !!!!! :(

Horrible neighbors/Poor Management

I moved in February of 2014, and signed a 7 month lease. Within 1 week our upstairs neighbor's became almost unbearable. They are up until all hours of the night, including this very moment (3:11 a.m. Friday morning) so it is almost impossible to get a descent night's sleep. They let their children and whoever else run, scream, and bang through the night and every weekend for that matter with no consideration for there neighbor's. Even though I've left messages and gave them a complaint in writing, which they have apparently ignored, the management has done absolutely nothing. I have asked to either be let out of my lease, or at least move me to a different apartment, but was told in order for them to move me, I would have to sign another lease. I have given up, and am going to move out and leave the apartment vacant for the next two month's while still paying the rent. These were just a couple issues that I've had since moving in. Another would be that if you want to take out your trash, you'll have to put it in your car and drive it there, as they have only 1 trash bin for the whole complex. It probably sounds as if I'm venting, but I have lived miserably for the last 5 month's, and don't want anyone else to have to do the same.
