The community was in a nice suburban/rural setting. The grounds were well maintained and the landscaping while sparse was trimmed. The apartments were spacious and offered a fair amount of storage. The pool and exercise room were of good quality. The clubhouse availability was also a plus.

The community is depreciating in value

We aim to please our residents and are very disapointed that you are not satisified with the condition of your apartment, the condition of your appliances, and the condition of the property. Lack of office availability on weekend and no convenient access to trash removal for residents in the rear

We do apologize in advance for not having trash service in the back of the property and will forward your suggestion to the proper personal. In regards to the office not being open on weekends please keep in mind that we do stay open to 6pm durring the weeknights and do offer alternatives if requested. Where do I begin? The compactor gets clogged regularly. The windows are super drafty, like it gets windy in my apartment and I have complained multiple times. Parking is miserable and management ignores people that don't follow rules.
Thank you for your feedback.. We do apologize in advance if you are not satisfied with Cedar Bend Apartments. Please keep in mind that we do have a numerous amounts of residents that use the compactor and the parking areas. We do regulary send out notices with reminders of what not to put in the compactor some items that have been disposed of can cause the compactor to go out of service and I assure you when this does happen it is addressed immediatly. In regards to the parking issues please keep in mind that we are at full occupancy and with some families having more than one vehicle and or guest that are parking in resident parking there may be congestion, we are aware of the issues located around your building and have been addressing these violations. If you are experiencing drafts from your windows please call or email the office with a work request we are not aware of situations inside of your apartment unless a work request is submitted. We do appreciate your response and thank you in advance for choosing to call Cedar Bend your home.

Despite me being told that water was included with the rent, it has started being charged separately in addition to the rent. I must pay to use a washer and dryer I already own. The managers are accusing me of causing a cockroach problem. They sent an exterminator to my apartment without informing me first, and told me I failed to comply with the instructions they gave me (they gave me nothing). They then instructed me to clear my kitchen of EVERYTHING for an exterminator to spray an a new date when they knew in advance that the exterminators offices would be closed on that day. After giving me a third date for them to come, they did not. Now one of the managers told me that my Fiances application to move in with me was denied while the Concord Cafe told me it was not. The status of her application is still in question right now and it seems possible that once we get married, we won't even be able to live together.

The community has gone down and the quality of the residents has gone down. I also don't like having to disclose my financial information every year because I am not receiving a break on my rent at all.

It seemed odd to pay more for bringing my own washer and dryer. The mid-term carpet cleaning, paint and free late payment was original but probably not needed and possibly troublesome.

Overall I was completely satisfied and impressed with the apartment community. It was very quiet very neat and very well maintained in and around the location. The leasing agent was energetic friendly and displayed knowledge of the community, which she explained clearly in a manner that was easy to understand, and I was impressed with the customer service provided at the location.

The amenities were basic - small pool, fitness room with a few pieces of equipment, playground with one small jungle gym that was adequate for a preschooler. The snow was cleared from the sidewalks, but they had not been salted. The appliances were in good shape, but were noticeably old. The apartment was neat and clean, but the size was nothing amazing for what was comparable in the area. The agent made minimal effort to get to know me so she could personalize the sales pitch to my needs so it was more of a generalized sales pitch about the community than trying to get me to envision it as my home. This was a mediocre experience. There was nothing that absolutely turned me off that I could not get over, but there was nothing that happened that made me say I could not wait to live here.
