The staff were inviting the area was clean and collected.

I really felt very welcome by the leasing staff. They did a good job of showing me around and pointing out all the benefits of living there. I really think this place I could call home.

Hawthorne Commons at Salem was reasonably priced. The amenities offered were a value for money and the drive to Boston Downtown was not that long.

It is an appealing community and has a friendly staff. They offer great amenities and the surrounding area offers things to do.

My perception was that I would keep looking. The community did not offer very many attractions. The apartment was small. The landscaping looked nice, but overall appeared a little depressing and down.

Hawthorne Commons is a large apartment community located in a very convenient area in Salem. There are apartments on two sides of a street, some of them located at the top of a hill which makes for some interesting views in those apartments. The apartments are well designed and have all been upgraded and renovated since the community first opened in the early 2000's. The gym is very small but this community is located in close proximity to shops, gyms restaurants and much more. They have a pool that is open seasonally with a lifeguard on the weekends. Hawthorne Commons is a great alternative to Boston living. The reasonable leasing prices makes Hawthorne Commons an even better option for apartment living.

I enjoyed the property and it appears to be an above deal for the price. The customer service was also pleasant however, it was more of a sales presentation than getting to know me.

I was taken on a tour of the community and loved it. The apartment and the amenities were very well shown to me and I felt like the customer service I received was top notch. I feel like it is a community you could call home.

The service roads and parking areas were very clean. There was no debris in sight.

I would recommend the community to family and friends.

The community was situated away from the center of Salem, but close to shopping areas. The apartments had full kitchens with granite counters and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms.

I had a very positive experience touring the community. The staff was very professional. The grounds were very nice and peaceful.
