Overall, this is a great facility, staff, and community. However, it would be a great feature if we were able to recycle and if the interior of the buildings was freshened up with some paint. Thank you!

We have been very happy! Staff in the office and staff in maintenance have been great! Just a couple suggestions. First, trash needs additional pickup and outside buildings need to be pressure washed and some maintenance. Second, inside hallways need fresh coat of paint and more frequent vacuuming.

I have complained over the last 2 years about the music and noise from the apartment below me. After continuous calls to the sales reps, doesn't seem like they have ever said anything. Tenants below play loud music/games at all huors of the night (8 p.m. to 8 a.m.) and during day time, but much less then. Very disappointed that nothing has changed.

More amenities, i.e. basketball court and tennis court. More parking.

Overall, my experience at the Highlands has been excellent. The parking situation is definitely the worst aspect of the community. I have occassionally had issues with after hours noise from neighbors and wish there was a way to identify these concerns without making it obvious that I voiced them.

The office staff is pleasnant and a responsive group of professionals that continues to be an asset to this property. We continue to enjoy our residence at The Highlands despite the sizable increase in our new 2015 lease. We would also like to recognize our maintenance staff who is a group of capable professionals (great at their jobs) and is always willing to help when and wherever necessary! A big thank you to everyone here who goes the extra mile for all residents at Highlands!

Our biggest concern is the price we were quoted to renew our lease. If we renew, it will be our 4th lease here. Our rent has increase $400 dollars over those 4 years. Garage increased as well as pet fee. We feel there should be some incentive to stay, and other residents have voiced the same concern. A renter loyalty program should be put in place for folks like us who are goal neighbors, pay rent on time, and clean up after our pet. I believe there are some people moving out who would like to stay but are put off by the rent increases. Yes, we understand that apartments are priced at "market value," but customer loyalty should be a main priority. We feel that Simpson Property has no loyalty to current, long-term renters. Also, the trash situation is out of control and absolutely disgusting.

Ellipticals and treadmills are constantly not functional. Ongoing, unattended problem for months. Grills in disrepair constantly, and firepit not functional. Dumpstersconstantly overflowing. People leave furniture, mattresses, bikes, etc. Why is there no recycling on the property? Create a mandatory dumpster for cardboard, at a minimum, because the dumpsters are full of recyclables. We can hear everything from our neighbors upstairs that stomp around.
Thank you for taking your time to leave comments about our community. Have you been by to check out our new fitness center? Please don't hesitate to contact the Leasing Office directly with any issues you have. Thank you!

I enjoy living here and would recommend it to others. There are two big problems. First, there are not enough parking spaces. Second, the vents above the stove are completely useless. It sucks up smoke just to blow it out right above the stove and towards the ceiling. The smallest amount of smoke sets off fire alarms, hard to cook!

There are not enough parking spaces for the number of aparrtments. The snow removal contractor needed to be more concerned about residents. Snow left in front of garages and follow up was minimal. The maintenance and office staffs are always friendly and very responsive to my problems.
Thank you for taking your time to share your comments. This winter was truly one for the records books! We will be happy to pass your comments along to our snow removal contractors for next year.

More parking, more recreational activities (i.e. basketball court, dog park,) update laundry facility in apartment, clean hallways more often and paint them, power wash side buildings where balconies are, and extend hours of swimming pool/hot tub.

I see pitbulls, huskies, and more. Maybe you are not able to control that, but I see dogs that are not allowed on your list but are here. People parking on the hill again, maybe you can't control certain things but you shouldn't put these things out there. That said, I love this place, very modern. I would love to stay here for a while. The staff is awesome and very helpful.

Great staff, always a pleasure to see them.

Parking issues during snow storms. More spots would be nice.

I absolutely love my apartment and the community. However, rent hikes are outrageous and will force me to look elsewhere soon. There should be exceptions for those who are long time residents.
