Do not move here

We moved in March 2015. This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. They say they are newly renovated but whoever they hire to do it did a horrible job. Piant, dry wall, screws are every where. I am still finding screws in the carpet from when they were being renovated. I have had nothing but problems with my apartment. Bugs are bag here too. They are constantly turning the hot water off. Our toilet was clogged and they said since we have one working toilet it was not considered an emergency and they would be in within a week to fix, my response was so you think it's ok to have poop in a toilet that not sanitary at all. So I fixed it myself. No one in the 9 five is on the same page, one person tells you something another tells you something different. I can not wait for our lease to be up so we can get out of here.

Poor amenities!!

Little to no amenities but they are currently working on it. The pool is rarely open. Closed all day Monday and only about 4 - 8 hours a day if that. They are attempting to get a clubhouse, fitness center and other things built. New play area and picnic/grill area are completed. Dog walking areas with pooh bags and trash cans. The apartments are very nice and cozy. Open floor plans with newer fixtures. The builds have been remodeled but are older and the noise levels can get bad in some buildings. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Granite, large apartment and they take big dogs

I love my apartment. It has more space than the house I had and they allowed my 2 big dogs. Office staff has always been more than helpful and always nice.

We loved everything but the promises unkept

My girlfriend and I really did enjoy our year at the Enclave despite several big promises that were not kept.

We were promised granite countertops would be installed before we moved in. They weren't, and when we asked, they said it would be 2-3 weeks. Well, 6 weeks later I give them a call asking what is up. They never bothered to keep us up to date. We ended up waiting 3 months for the granite countertops to be installed that they promised would be there when we moved in.

We were promised that the pool would be open last summer. We saw pictures of the pool advertised on their website and on craigslist. It never opened, and a pool was something we really wanted. Now they are saying it will be open this year.

We were promised that an on-site fitness facility would be open last summer. We saw pictures of fitness equipment advertised. That never happened, and now a year later they just say it is "coming soon".

Now, while we were upset by this, we didn't really do anything about it. The apartment really was pretty nice. The carpets and faux hardwood floors, the nice appliances, the layout was all great. I especially liked the people who worked in the leasing office.

I should note that the all-in-one washer/dryer unit definitely fell way below expectations. We ended up doing laundry mostly at our parents'/friends' houses because the one at the Enclave does extremely small loads. So basically you have to do laundry every day to keep up, and we like doing it once a week because of our busy lifestyles. Also, hot water is a commodity during cold weather. It will usually get just warm enough, but rarely hot. Also, there used to be several large dumpsters spaced nicely about the property, which was convenient and easy. Now we have to haul heavy bags of trash all the way at the dead end of a street to a compactor that is the ONLY place to dispose of garbage. We see most people put their garbage in their car and drive it there.

The final straw when we went to their office to renew our lease.

We received a letter in early December that had an offer to renew our lease, and told us our lease would expire in February. We definitely wanted to stay despite the trust issues that management had created. We receive a letter in writing stating "At this time we would like to extend an offer to renew your lease". Since specific amounts can't be put in this review, let's say I was offered X dollars per month to renew my lease.

Fast-forward to January 5. We went to renew and they said their written offer of X was a mistake, and the price is actually Y. Y = X + 200, so now we were going to have to pay 200 more than what they offered us in writing in a letter they sent to our door.

We were shocked and told them we now needed to think it over more. I came back a few days later telling them all of the previous problems we had and that we weren't interested in continuing to stay for the new price, and that I felt like I have been over-promised too many things and this letter was the last straw.

They basically tell me too bad, that's the price, and also if you leave you were supposed to give us 60-day notice if you're leaving. I explained that we would have given 60-day notice, but we were planning to stay based on the offer they sent in the letter. If the letter said the offer was Y dollars/mo, we would have given the 60-day notice immediately. Now we are at fault for not giving notice because we believed information they sent us in a letter.

I would not let any friends or family lease at the Enclave or any other of their apartment complexes. There were too many broken promises and misinformation, and when I complained, they did nothing for me. Slowly but surely they completely lost all of our trust.

DO NOT RENT HERE

I have lived here for 6 months and for the last 3 months I haven't been able to even count on my hot water working. Sometimes the water in my shower wont even come out. They are constantly leaving notes on doors apologizing for the "inconvenience of no hot water at this time" and this is a weekly thing. I couldn't have guests over for thanksgiving because no one in our building had hot water. They will not refund any rent or make any compensation for the inconvenience we've had to go through and for someone who paid 6 months IN ADVANCE (electricity included!!), I couldn't be more dissatisfied with this establishment.

leave and never come back!

Nothing works! The plugs don't work and those that do have no grip! Washer and dryer is a washer/dryer that does neither right! Your clothes is always wet! No matter how many times you call maintanece, they never show up! After 6 month and still waiting! You can't hang or change anything! Pool and gym 4 months over due date and they haven't even started one! They tell you one more month every time!

put together

It says garbage disposal....not true. No lighting in walk-in closets. Dishwasher has been broken for 2 wks.....no repair in sight. Plugs don't work. It seems like they did not take care in remodeling.
