Worst apartment living ever

This is the absolute worst apartment living situation that I have ever experienced. These people do not take care of their tenants AT ALL.  The problems started the day I moved when I opened the place to find a non remodeled apartment when the one I was shown months earlier and agreed to rent WAS remodeled. Of course I went in there right away VERY upset and the girl swore up and down that although she showed me a remodel, she told me mine would not be. Why would I give them hundreds of dollars to hold a unit I had not seen? My stuff was there and I had no options so I made the HUGE mistake of moving it in and making the best of it. Rent is not late as long as the office receives it by the 5th of the month. You can slide the rent under the office door on the 5th, and as long as it is there when they open on the 6th there is no penalty. My first month paying, the 5th happened to be a Sunday (and the superbowl no less). I left for work Monday morning and called my boyfriend to hurry and take the check to the office because I forgot. He literally walked in with the employee as she was opening the office, but because he handed her the check instead of her picking it up with the others I was charged $100 late fee. After I had been living there almost a year, I awoke to find a $50 fine notice under my door. The fine was for having a doormat outside my apartment. This mat had been there since the day I moved in. None of us were told to take the mats away. They simply threw all of our mats out in the trash one morning, and fined us. They cited a place in the lease where it prohibited mats, but most of the neighbors had them and I hadnt known it was a problem. Because I wanted satellite cable, I was charged $100 extra upon moving in (I dont know why, but I paid it anyways.) Again, about a year after I moved in I received a fine notice under my door for the satellite dish being attached to the rail on my patio. Again, the dish had been there since I moved in . Also, aside from attaching it to the roof of the building, there is NO OTHER place to put the dish outside. I left a pretty angry message for the office, and did not hear about it again. My refrigerator stopped working one morning after I had just been shopping the night before. I called the office as soon as i got to work and told them. 8 hours later when I returned home, it had not been fixed. I called again and was told they "forgot" and would send someone. Nobody came and nobody answered the rest of the night. Someone finally came while I was at work the next day, but I had to throw everything out by then. Unfortunately, I could not slide a "fine" under their door. My large one bedroom is cooled with a single ac box in the living room which is ancient and barely works. I had to buy a portable ac to have in my bedroom, and it is still unbearable in the hot summer. My electric bill during those months is astronomical. All they have done both times I have called about this is replace the filter which has done nothing. Over the summer I had to drive a loaner car for a week while mine was getting repairs. I had put my parking sticker in the loaner car. Last week I go to leave for work to find my car gone from outside of my building. It turns out I forgot to put my parking sticker back into my car months before. The office has my vehicle information, but instead of calling to ask about my sticker they towed my car in the middle of the night 9 miles away to a shady neighborhood. It cost me $200 to get it out. By this time my parking sticker was lost, so they charged me another $100 for a new one and gave me a piece of paper to put in the window because they did not actually have a new one to give me. I still have not received one. I assume they took tenant vehicle information so that they knew who was supposed to be there. Guess not. The way they treat tenants here is an ABSOLUTE joke. I am currently looking at places and cannot wait to leave. I fully intend to get this information out to as many people as possible because this place does not deserve anyone's hard earned money every month. Live anywhere but here.Â
