Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

The apartment was in a great area of town that was quieter than other areas of town, even though it was right on the river. The apartment had a ton of storage and a lot of light that came into it. The staff were all friendly and paid a lot of attention to what I wanted in the presentation.

The apartment sizes were comparable to the others in the area. The amenities with the multiple grilling areas was exceptional. The laundry facility was very clean and updated. The clubhouse was very well appointed. The location of the apartment offered views of the lake and river.

The agent was excellent in her service presentation, engagement and professionalism. She showed the amenities and upkeep of the building. She provided and related value to the price and the quality of life and my needs. I would definitely have leased based on my tour.

This is a beautiful property located just a few yards from where the Chicago River meets Lake Michigan. The common areas are in pristine condition with such amenities as an indoor pool, a fitness center with state of the art equipment, and a business center. The apartments are spacious with plenty of closet space and panoramic views of the city.

The community offers a complete amenity floor that is both attractive and current with the times. The apartments have been upgraded and are nicely maintained. The location is prime, as it is adjacent to the lakefront, retail and restaurants.

Good property, great views, friendly staff

Overall a good experience. The apartment is functional and up to date. The staff is nice and helpful. They seem to struggle forever with the elevators, but other than that it's at par with other apartments in the zone.

I feel that you get more than enough for your money just for the view, and the location is great.

Great place to live...

I wish the deck would have extended hours of operation and the grills would have tools brush to clean up after guests that just grilled. Also, it would be nice if smoking would be allowed on the 8th floor....lets say in one designated patio area out of the four that we have. Other then that, i love this place

Active listening ears

I am in the middle of my second year with this apartment building, which lives up to the expectations and concerns of the tenants. All my residential issues were addressed effectively from efficient and professional staff. It is a place that I would see myself staying. It is the economics, the convenience of the location, and the ambience away from the hustle and bustle of urban living. ALL these influenced my decision to choose THE PLACE I call my home AND, It is the RIVER too

I really like the location in that it is not quite downtown but five minutes from it. It is a bit off the beaten track and right on the river near where you can take boat rides. The indoor heated pool is narrow but long enough for laps and the gym is nice and open 24 hours. The communal space is big and pleasant, and there are places to hang out if the main area is rented out for a party. Parking is in the building, but the only catch is that it is $48 to park for 24 hours without a pass. There is no street parking, but it is near a bus and not too far from the train. The building has been revamped with nice big closets and open kitchens, great for singles or two person families.

Great value in downtown

I have enjoyed living at CityFront for the last year. The amenities are top notch, and the staff courtesy and prompt. The neighborhood is wonderful, walkable and safe. Closing to movies, bowling, great restaurants, and shopping. Looking forward to the Target opening up the block in October. Great place all around.

Good but not great

The building's location is ideal, a short walk to anything you need. Neighbors are nice and for the most part quiet. Maintenance issues get fixed reasonably well. However, the elevator system is a disaster and despite multiple attempts to address the situation the problems prevail. The apartments are well kept but not stunning. Considering new rent levels e.g. 3,100 for a 2 bedroom with parking there are probably other options out there, perhaps at a slightly higher price point that are better than CityFront.

Great amenities A nice place to live.

The location is very convenient for us Also, we really enjoy the grills on the eighth floor deck.

Elevators

The Elevators are a real convern. The reliability is not there and the wait times are beginning to negatively affect my overall view of the building.

City Front Place Apts.

It is a great place to live, right by the river with great views. Great Property, great staff both office and maintenance. Noise levels are very low.
