Great place to live

Amazing staff, great amenities, easy to contact and always respond fast. And an excellent location

I love this place

The only complaint I have is there are no screens on the windows. Other than that this place is great

Overall we are happy with our apartment.

We like the apartment a lot. The common space is great, always smells freshly cleaned and the neighborhood is fantastic. Our only complaint is that the windows leak, so hopefully the new windows will arrive soon, as the storms have damaged the wall and one of our antique tables.

Great space and staff

I have loved my experience at 1313 Randolph Street Lofts and would definitely recommend. My biggest issues are the noise from other apartments especially from the daycare downstairs and how far away it is from most bars restaurants CTA. These issues are manageable considering how nice the apartments are and how helpful the staff has been. I also love the rooftop access

Quality Apartment Experience

The units and the community spaces are well maintained and stylish. Suits my personal aesthetic which leans toward more modern, but comfortable. Management is responsive, courteous and helpful. The maintenance crew works multiple properties from what I understand so they are sometimes a little slower than preferred, but the quality of work is strong. If the repair doesn t last (for example my washer/dryer and dishwasher) the effected items are replaced quickly and management helps to make alternate accommodations in the interim. If not leaving the city, I would have stayed in my unit for the foreseeable future and I would try to live here again if I ever came back.

Not worth it!

Small and overpriced units. Poor insulation. You can hear all the noise from other neighbors and outside. Terrible management company. Beware of overcharges. Building managers use the amenities over residents here for their own events.

Great building

Great building but maintenance services are deficient.

disappointed

its not worth it

nice apartment - no leadership present -

nice place - high rent - not enough leadership available - no control over the public spaces

Beautiful building, some construction flaws

It is great. The space is beautiful, the building is set up to be secure, the neighborhood is great!

extremely disappointed

I would honestly tell them, its not worth it.

Nice Building but Terrible Management

It is a great building but the building management is completely unresponsive and for a unit that is new construction there have been a bunch of issues. We have probably have 1/4 emails responded to by the building manager and sometimes have to send the same email 4-5 times over multiple weeks before we get a response. Apparently she is really busy.

Modern. Trendy. Comfortable.

Great place to live. And there are several pros and cons:
Pros:
- Great aesthetic (modern look and feel, new finishes). Gorgeous lobby.
- Fantastic amenities (gym, rooftop community space and deck, etc.).
- Management and maintenance staff are personable.
- Fabulous location. West Loop rocks.
Cons:
- Concrete ceilings and flooring doesn't = soundproof. Conversation in halls is easily heard. Neighbors with loud music.
- While maintenance staff is responsive, I've had to deal with shoddy construction (poor painting and really bad drywall installation, chipped cabinets) that hasn't been resolved.
- Lots of outside noise. Windows aren't soundproof, or weather proof (drafty/cold).
- Creative expression and home personalization is expensive. You can paint, but you have to pay to have it painted back to white again.
- Street parking can be difficult. Would be nice if parking in front of building was reserved for the building residents and guests.

Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

The outside of the building definitely needed some jazzing up. Sort of a nice problem to have. In order to come just close to the inside, a spruce up on the outside would get Chicago residents like me to realize that there is an apartment in the building.

I would highly recommend the community to friends and family. The building is awesome.
