Move on. Do yourself a favor.

This used to be a great place to live until Advenir took control. I do not recommend moving here. I'm so sorry I signed with the new management. Lots of promises. Not doing much. They cut down so many beautiful shade and privacy trees...many trees. Grass cutting is poor and not often enough. Many streaks of uncut grass. Promised new dog park. Changed mind. Said new washers and dryers for every unit and that's why the huge raise in rent. Then told us that only new signers are getting them. Maintenance issues are a big complaint of many residents here. Huge rent increase. Fleas are rampant. No bug spraying of lawn since they took over. Looks like they take care of the office area though. I see the little spray flags in the lawn by the office. That is all. Signs put up everywhere today to do this and not do that. One day some workers were going to enter my apartment to put in an electrical auxiliary circuit in my kitchen as I was on my way to work with no notice prior to me! Not a happy camper. Can't wait till lease is fulfilled. The apartments are nice. The management is not. They rarely answer the phone and my last 3 messages have not been answered. Move on. Do yourself a favor. It just keeps getting worse.

Gone down hill since Advenir

Since Advenir has become the new management, Monterrey has gone downhill. Tenants have had a bowel movement three times in the pool, and no one was told to not go in it and they did not drain it. One of the buildings was on fire watch and the maintenance guys were told not to inform any of the tenants in the building and when maintenance they were all fired. Twice my air conditioning went out and I have a newborn baby. The first time I called maintenance about it no one called me back. So I saw one of them on their golf carts and stopped them. Their excuse was that the phones were down. So they just came and charged it. Three weeks later it broke again and it happened to be on a Sunday. Before Advenir took over, any emergency maintenance calls made were called back by one of the maintenance guys in an hour, they came out and fixed the problem, and if you were not home they call you back and left a message. No one called me back after I called three times and left three different voice messages. Like I said I have a daughter so we stayed in a hotel. The next day I came to my apartment being 85 degrees at 11:30 am and it still was not fixed and I still didn't hear from anyone. I went down to the office and they said someone should be by to fix it today or tomorrow. So I informed them that obviously I had to stay in a hotel again and the office employees said that was ok just bring my invoice in. So the next day I came home and it was fixed, no one called to let me know that they were there in my apartment or that it was fixed. So today as I write this, my family and I being woke up to knocking on the door that it is our scheduled day to have electrical done. No one was informed once again and the electrical guys said they told them they informed the tenants but everyone said no one knew about it.
