Take it from me - this is a place you never want to rent from! The property manager Sandy seemed nice enough when I initially went to view the apartments and put down a security deposit. Everything seemed perfect -- I had secured an apartment, got a move in date, and couldn't have been more excited! However, I should have known that something was up when she refused to let me see the inside of my personal apartment -- she would only let me tour the model. I got a text a coupled days before the move in date from Sandy telling me how excited I should be because my unit had been completely repainted and fresh carpet throughout. Move in day came, I was there with all of my things in a move in truck (mind you I had move out of my old apartment and finished the lease), and I walked in the apartment and the place reeked of smoke! I immediately looked at her she proceeds to tell me that after lighting a couple candles I won't even know the difference! When I told her this absolutely wasn't going to work, she made comment about how all my stuff was already there and what was I going to do. I was furious! I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism! She had tried to put me in a position where I would have to rent from this place because I had nowhere else to go! As anyone would I expected her to make this right, but the only thing she would do was either have me wait until something else opened up (which could have been weeks), or just give me my deposit back. Of course I took my deposit back (which still took a week -- since she always claimed to be "out of the office"). This complex cares about only about making as much money as possible no matter what cost to the tenants. Seems like a great deal, but you will definitely be paying in more ways than one!
