I'm David Weaver...supposedly a prospective tenant. I set an appointment to view the property back in February 2015, and was set to view the property today (April 24, 2015 @ 12:30pm). I arrived early at what they refer to as the "Welcome Center" and was NOT welcomed by anyone. I was not greeted. I wasn't acknowledged. This is even after I knocked on the door a few times, peered through the windows, called the "remote office" hotline a few times, left messages with the on site team and their toll free number. I sat in the sun for nearly 40 minutes. Then...the mail lady pulled up. I was interested to know if she would have the same result. So...the office staff was in their office the entire time because they gladly opened the door to her...and promptly, might I add, shut the door behind her. I decided at that point that it may be in my best interest to scope the property a bit more. I asked a few of the residents what they thought of the property that happened to be strolling through the neighborhood. They were cautious to speak with me, but that's fine (you never know who you're talking to anyway, these days). I asked a few questions, and I specifically brought up the leasing office issue of appointments only, and that their voicemail says their office is currently closed and to make an appointment online. They just looked at each other and said "Yeah, that's a huge problem." Gee, no kidding. So, I left the leasing office another voicemail stating my dissatisfaction in their lack of delivery in keeping a proper appointment for a possible tenant, and if they felt interested in providing me with a tour of their property, they can feel free to call me on my personal cell phone, which I left on the voicemail and also with their 800 number. It's been 2 hours now, and still no reply.

Summary? If you want to be ignored and treated like an inconvenience as a prospective tenant, with lots of hoops to jump through, then this is the property for you! If you take a look at the management company's reviews online (Concord is their name) from 3rd party sources, you'll notice that there's a trend with all the properties they manage that I've found so far. Currently, they "manage" 3 different properties in Oviedo. Stear clear, folks. Stear WAAAAAAAY clear.

I have lived in Mystic Cove for a few years. When we first moved in, the office staff was extremely helpful and it was easy to get help with any issues. In the past year it seems like the office staff no longer cares about the residences. They always point out that they must be doing a good job because they are always at full capacity. Not the case! The reason they are at full capacity is because the units are hundreds of dollars cheaper than the other apartments in the area. The maintenance staff is still great, super helpful when there is a problem. The office staff is hard to get in touch with, you have to make an appointment to come in and see them and that is only on Mon, Wed and Fri. They no longer accept packages at the front office and you will have to go to the post office to pick up packages. People with dogs don't follow the rules and they don't put their pets on leashes and they don't pick up after them. All in all, the complex has gone down hill in the past few years, which is sad because it used to be a great place to live. Now the office staff has an attitude most of the time if you can even get in touch with them.

It was a clean looking community.

When I called the community, I was very excited to come for a visit even though they did not have an actual apartment to show. The amenities and landscaping were very attractive. I especially liked the private entrances and beach side cottage feeling the exteriors of the buildings gave. I did not feel that my visit lived up to my hopes, because the leasing agent I met with did not spend much time trying to get to know me. Nevertheless, I found the apartments to be beautiful from the outside and floor plans and the price to be a great value. It was a nice community, I just felt like some of the staff needed to reach out to connect with people better.

The community is so convenient to 417, restaurants, stores, shopping. Mystic Cove looks like a friendly, fun place to live. The split floor plan is a great floor plan.

It would be nice if the property had a model to view. The office was beautiful and what I saw of the property was beautiful and very well maintained.

I would recommend the community.

I did not see any apartments, but the amenities seem to be adequate. The pool looked clean and the grounds were well maintained. There was plenty of parking and a nice fitness room and business center.

This property was not as appealing as the other properties. The overall enthusiasm was lacking, possibly due to the lack of apartments available. The property itself was nicely kept and clean and a good value for the money. The leasing agent had the skills noted to be an exceptional professional, but to me she seemed distracted.

Although the concierge type concept was briefly touched on, I felt this was a wonderful addition.

The leasing professional did not give me an active demonstration. She showed me a beautifully decorated apartment model and was confident.
