Apartment Review from a Current Renter

It's a typical apt community, better than some, worse than others. It's highly overpriced, despite other apt complexes being high in the area (which are also grossly overpriced). No effort made to keep current residents, apparently nobody cares about having long-term residents, as rents are raised by $75-100 every year. It's ridiculous. Parking is atrocious. Too many apts with multiple cars, some with 3 and 4 with families having teenagers. Parking lot wasn't constructed for each apt to even have 1 space let alone 2, 3, etc. Rules are not enforced, especially rules regarding satellite dishes (I was told I couldn't have one because the dish would hang out over the patio railing, but there is an apt on the 3rd floor across from me that has a dish attached to and hanging over the railing), dogs being off-leash (not only against apt rule but also illegal), visitor parking (way too many cars without apt tags in parking lot), illegal parking in fire lanes, pool/hot tub area times not enforced (pool/hot tub supposed to be closed at 10 pm, people will climb over the fence to open gate for others after 10 pm)nor are pool rules enforced (dogs in the pool area, dogs in the pool, gate being propped open, excessive visitors, etc.) When you tell management about these things they just nod their heads and say they aren't on the propery after hours so can't do anything about it.
Thank you for taking the time to review our communtiy and let us know some of the issues you may be experiencing. It does look like we may not be meeting some of your expections, so we would love the opportunity to speak with you. We do try to enforce the rules, but unfortunately, there are sometimes some bad apples. If you know, or see, anyone violating the rules, please do not hesitate to contact the office, and we will take care of the issue. Thank you again for taking the time, I we looking forward to meeting with you soon to talk about your experience.

Because its' clean, and kept up. A little pricey for a 1 bedroom, but then you get what you pay for. Overall pretty good

I would recommend this community; it has all the amenities and the units have everything one would need.

The traffic noise is pretty bad and the walls seem pretty thin -- can hear the neighbors. The maintenance guys keep knocking down the barn swallow nests even though they are a protected species. The rent is increasing...
Thank you for taking the time to review our community. If you are hearing excessive noise from neighbors, maybe we could send out a nice letter explaining quiet hours. As for the swallows, yes they are protected. We are able to knock the nest down before they are fully established. Once established we cannot. As you may have noticed, there are many, many established nests now and they are not being touched. If you see differenly please let me know!

Thank you again for taking the time. If you would like to meet, or speak with us, please do not hesitate to contact us anytime!

I would recommend Whisper Creek if you like dogs.

The seclusion of the location is not a high priority for people in their 20s.

Aside from the neighbors dogs barking constantly and nothing being done about it, I would recommend living here. I would also recommend an apartment away from the hot tube because people are in it very late and can be very loud.

Wouldn't recommend anywhere that Greystar is a management company, but would recommend this community.

Clean apartments and grounds. People are friendly. Staff is great.

I believe it is OK for a business that rents this kind of apartments, but mainly because of the location that it was very good for us. Our kids go to D'Evelyn High school.

Parking. I park at the end of the complex if i arrive after 11pm. I dont have a site map but its the area near the last entrance. I live in building #3... I have discussed a garage and was told one was open near me. now it is gone. I often wonder if this is the idea for revenue growth, you get an extra $75 from frustrated people.

I think it's a super great place, but the rent is ridiculous. To pay nearly $1,000 for one bedroom?! It's not like there's granite countertops and heated floors! It's a nice place, but the rent money is not worth what you actually get.

The staff has historically been pretty great. I don't have much experience with the new folks, but hopefully the new owners will keep that culture going.

The quality of the appearance has gone down over the years. The buildings look a bit run down and the sidewalks in many areas are in dire need of repair.

Due to road noise (from 285), the neighbor noise (music, arugments, loud cars/trucks, heard clearly), and the construction quality of the building (ie I can feel vibrations in the floor when neighbors slam doors, run around, play their sound systems with the bass turned on, etc..), I would not recommend this to family/friends.
