Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

The community and apartments were well-designed and appealing.

I liked the area, the community, the amenities and the apartment. The apartment setup was unusual, not typical.

This is a large community in a great location. The amenities are nice. I loved the details like flowers in the beds and pots. The leasing professional was very pleasant and helpful.

Price does not match expectations

Way over priced for what you get. Forced to pay for services you don't want or need. Pool rules are stupid and the pool is too cold. The work out room is inadequate for what you pay for this place. Its noisy and maintanence is extremely slow.

Nice community and location. Less noise from neighbors due to good construction of building.

Nice community and location, close to Denver with easy access to surrounding cities. Couple of drawback is I have seen much better work out centers and swimming pools for the apartment complex, and there is not a lot of parking area for visitors which makes it particularly harder for older people to visit.

Beautiful places and surroundings.

Parking is terrible. Don't like to leave once you get a parking space that is somewhat close. Thank god for the church parking lot.

Also people not picking up after their dogs. Really have to pay attention to where you're stepping.

Good community but rent is way too high

I would say I like it but the train is loud and that the rent is very high.

AWFUL! When Carmel managed the property it was amazing - now it is terrible

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE

used to be terrific - now it is awful

it was once a lovely community, it is terrible to live here now. Clearly the maintenance crew is unable to clean up after other horrible residents that do not pick up after their dogs - and the 'poop stations' rarely have poop bags stocked (and if they do, they are not the proper size - so the roll is schlepped into the box and the lid has been broken off) it seems that the poop trash cans are always overflowing. If it snows - do not expect the lots or sidewalks to be plowed /salted. kids are constantly playing IN the parking lot. commercial vehicles are also always taking up two spaces in the parking lot. the office is never open before or after I get home from work. I would love to use the tanning booth, but cannot. Luckily the staff (specifically Nancy and Samantha) are friendly and willing to help. If not for them, I would have broken my lease a long time ago

Usually great...

We spend a lot of money for bags to use to pick up our dog's droppings, and they have been terribly stocked for the last month or so. Either stock it so we can use them and our yards are not so disgusting, or don't and we can use our own bags and not pay you for them!
The locks are also terrible on the doors. We had to get our handle replaced, which was replaced by a handle that does not lock. And we asked maintenance to take care of our deadbolt, which sticks, and they never touched it.

What started out as a 10 experience is reaching a 5.

I would tell them it's far too expensive for the value. Originally, I signed a one-year lease with Water Tower and found it to be a great experience. I would have told anyone to rent here. In the last year, I have had horrible neighbors move in all around me, parking is the worst it's ever been, the property has been horribly maintained through snows and maintenance is really bad. I'm not sure what went downhill int he last year, but I won't be renewing my lease when it's up in the fall.

The leasing agent who assisted me was very pleasant, which made my visit there comfortable. The community is in very good shape and has good curb appeal. The amenities are pristine in their appearance. The vacant apartment I was shown was ready to move in, meaning everything was fresh and clean. Everything was great. The size of the one bedroom for the price was well matched.

The community was well maintained, and I did not notice any areas of improvement needed.

Nice layout, convenient, thin walls, horrible parking, loud pets.

Very convenient for mountains or town, but your friends will never want to visit because of extremely inadequate parking. Thin walls and floors with that allow you to hear your neighbors and there pets easily. A little over priced for the short comings. Comfortable living space, but no choice of cable provider leaves you stuck with a satelite service that is very unreliable in bad weather. I would need a rent reduction or free garage to stay past my lease. I would probably still move to get more privacy and less neighbor noise. Great office staff and very good maintenance crew. Energy efficient with nice kitchens and baths. I also smell my neighbors food in my master walk-in closet when they cook. I have to spray it with air freshener daily.

I would most likely lease an apartment at the community, because I liked the community's quiet location. It is close to the shopping area, and groceries. It is close to the I-70 freeway. The apartment has good features, and the community offers nice amenities.
