After renting our unit for 3 years we have decided to move. Considering the local apartments are decreasing the rent in the area and this management company at latitude decided to raise the rent just after taking over without notice is bad business. I have talked to several other renter who have also decided to leave for this reason. Most of us have rented here for longer then 2 years.

It was fine, and the common areas nice, but the lack of quality in the construction, the untimely replacement of video game and/or remote controls, and the high price would lead me to not recommend

If you block out anything outside the community, it is a great, clean, well maintained living area.

Too many young kids

I feel safe here. It meets all my needs. I make use of the facilities (bbq, workout room, business center) and love having those available. Safety, though, is huge to us!

If somebody had to live in Escondido, Latitude 33 is THE place to live at. If I could live in San Marcos, I would rather live there.

if I had any friends that were single or had no children I would recommend this place if they were looking for a showcase apartment complex to live in. To all of my other friends I would tell them to look somewhere else.

This used to be a "Very Likely" response, but I'm not so sure now. I love the apartment, the location, the size, and the safety, but I am not happy about the noise and the percentage of apartments that are being rented to college students who party and pull the fire alarms. I am also not sure yet whether new management will restore the cleanliness and good service that the other management was so well-liked for.

The level of upkeep has seen a sharp decline with the new ownership.

Rent is to high compared to other similar apartments

Wouldn't recommend to a family with small children.

If they are able to afford the price on the apartments I would recommend this location if they want to stay in North County.

It's the nicest place in escondido, but has fallen off somewhat recently.

Comfort, safety, immentities, and friendliness

The dorm mentality is terrible. Staff is friendly but seem overwhelmed.
