Inverness Landing is overpriced for what it is.

Nothing

Staff nonresponsive to severe noise issues from neighbors. Miserable.

The parking and maintenance response are great. It doesn't always feel like the main office staff care about you as more than just a rent check however. I've brought the loud and rude behavior of my upstairs neighbors to the attention of Drew in our main office a month ago and after being told that he was 'friends' with them, that these neighbors are 'good people', and that he would take care of it I still have hammering noises coiming down through the ceiling and have to deal with the noise from a young dog trapped in their bathroom either keeping me up at night or waking me up at 5-7am every morning. Friends with the other party or not, I pay my rent and would expect that my concerns and issues are dealt with as well.

as a whole its a nice place to live but...

Charging people $25.00 for taking their trash out as soon as possible due to their apartment being infested with ants and roaches is unacceptable. not to mention the inconvenience of having to walk 200 yards just to throw away trash. You would think that with as much money as we spend on rent that we could afford more than one or two dumpsters. For a family of six we accumilate more than just a bag of trash a day. The 10 gallon trash can that was provided is not sufficiant enough. Then to keep the front scenery presentable we placed our trash on the back porch which faces woods, only to have a letter sent to us telling us not to do that either. The water bill is too high for the size of our apartment. I can't find a meter anywhere to check the usage and their is water coming up through the parking lot out front, the sprinklers are broken and spew out onto the sidewalk. I truly believe that the water bill is determined by dividing the total cost and maing the tenants pay for these wasteful opportunities.

I liked living at Inverness Landing

This is a lovely place to live. Quiet, relatively well maintained and the rent seems fair. However, upon leaving Inverness Landing, I was quite disappointed with the rental agent's behavior regarding my apartment. Although my vacate date was not until March 1 and I paid rent to that date, my apartment was entered and doors were left unlocked and unattended. The agent was rude to my friend who went to the apartment to remove some furniture that belonged to her, and he was also rude to me with regard to some items I placed on the porch in an attempt to give them away before moving. Management did notify me when they found another tenant for my unit and offered a discount on my rent penalty for breaking the lease, which I appreciated, but I did not feel that my rights were respected with regard to the apartment when I left.

Quiet and secluded but still close to everything 280 offers.

Living at Inverness Landing feels more like home than other apartments we've lived in or viewed in the surround area. They offer huge floorplans so you feel like you're getting more bang for your bank square-footage wise. Our building and surrounding areas in the back of the complex is nice and quiet all hours of the day. Our only issue is maintenance requests are slow to be responsed to.. our ice maker wasn't working when we moved in August 2012 and we weren't even contacted about having it repaired until we'd been living there for 3.5 months.

Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

The location was magnificent. The grounds were lovely and well maintained.

Feedback from an independent evaluator

I was very impressed with the tour and the presentation that was given to me.

The telephone conversation was a little short. Once I made it to the community I was happy with the landscaping of the community. I was a little upset with the walk from the parking lot to the leasing office, it was a little winding. Once I got the office I quickly got over that because of the view of the lake and pool. Once inside I was pleased with the office and how it was decorated. I enjoyed the conversation I had with the leasing professional. I really enjoyed the drive to the apartment and the view of the lake from the apartment. I was really happy with the entire visit.
